New Foundations founded in 2003 by David and Shirley Donovan from Cambridge is a Christian medical mission based in Enekorogha in The Delta, Nigeria. It began as one centre but the work has now spread to other communities in the region and they now have four sites all manned by locally trained staff providing essential medical aid to the remote isolated villages located on the banks of the Niger delta. Mission for Vision is currently helping them to get established with an eye clinic which is to provide basic but good primary eye care services including refraction and the provision of corrective eye wear.
